It's not everyday that I get a good length video of #breastfeedingyoga , especially not on a day that I learn a new trick (how to tuck my foot behind my head in scorpion) 🙌. She definitely doesn't make it easy. In our stage of nursing, right now, we are at all day. She wants to explore the world and figure out how things work, but needs a boob to tug, hug and plug while she soaks it all in. I'm always here to support her and , as you can see, she supports my needs too. This 18 months has been a wonderful bonding experience with her. As I sit here to write this, she is content next to me stroking my arm while I breathe through my passing thoughts. It's also not every day that we are so in sync as this 👌. Today is a special day though, we got to see an historical Super Blue Blood Moon eclipse as a family, and during that I was blessed with blood of my own. I am so honored. Everyone had energy today and we all felt drawn to connect that energy. We washed ourselves in moonlight and sunlight today. I celebrated the skin I'm in, the body of a creatrix and the heart seeds of children I birthed through the joining of two worlds. We celebrated US.

Krvavé nohavičky podľa mnohých nepatria na instagram, no Carlee svoj čin obhajuje.

Goddess forbid we even talk about our periods in public….everything must be smothered in white and kept perfectly clean and hidden. That’s what society shoves down our throats. Had to bring out these amazing @cutebootylounge white leggings and Moon lamp from @mindfulbohemian to dive into this one!! Let me share with you what your menstrual cycle does NOT have to be like: Bloated, icky, uncomfortable, shameful, traumatic, dirty, hidden, crampy & PMS-y, intolerable, irregular, heavy, hormonally out of control, full of mood swings and uncontrollable junk food or sugar cravings. What if it was more like a time that you cherished and held sacred? What if you looked forward to it every month? What if it was orgasmic, blissful and felt like you were melting into your body with ecstasy? What if you were able to surrender sensually into a day of relaxation, rest, rituals, honoring and pleasure? What if it was the time of the month where you felt so deeply connected to your yoni, sensuality, inner wisdom, intuition and divinity? What if you could create and go inward and dance with your shadows and heal? What if you felt seduced by your menstrual cycle? We are connected to mother earth, our fellow sisters, our wombs and the moon!  It's sole purpose is to create, to manifest.  From spark, to flame, to fire, to ashes, to spark again… it is a symbolic creative process that can be applied to many aspects of life. The menstrual cycle is about womens’ energy and power; the power to be, to restore, to receive & to create. Women do not learn magic, women are magic.  It is nature, it is our birthright, and we should be forever thankful for the opportunities our menstrual cycles bring us.  Women are Natural Shamans, they just need to understand and use the power they hold within. 👇👇👇👇👇

✨"In our prophecies it is told that we are now at the crossroads: Either unite spiritually as a global nation, or be faced with chaos, disasters, diseases, and tears from our relatives’ eyes. We are the only species that is destroying the source of life, meaning Mother Earth, in the name of power, mineral resources, and ownership of land. Using chemicals and methods of warfare that are doing irreversible damage, as Mother Earth is becoming tired and cannot sustain any more impacts of war. I ask you to join me on this endeavor. Our vision is for the peoples of all continents, regardless of their beliefs in the Creator, to come together as one at their Sacred Sites to pray and meditate and commune with one another, thus promoting an energy shift to heal our Mother Earth and achieve a universal consciousness toward attaining Peace. As each day passes, I ask all nations to begin a global effort, and remember to give thanks for the sacred food that has been gifted to us by our Mother Earth, so the nutritional energy of medicine can be guided to heal our minds and spirits."✨~Chief Arvol Looking Horse *lifting all my Brothers &Sisters up in prayer* (((❤))) ✨🌎✨ #NODAPL #standwithStandingRock #waterislife 🌳This is a fight for saving Mother Earth and protecting All who live here🌳 #yogawithkids #breastfeedingyoga #babynumber3 #meditation #leagueofextraordinaryyogis ##dreaminghopper🌬️ #igyogamoms #yogainspiration #yogaeverydamnday #yogapractice #focus #forearmfriday #educatebeforeyouvaccinate OUTFIT- @soulflowerbuds #soulflowerbuds

„Počas každého cyklu si nájdem čas, aby som za to poďakovala. Prajem si, aby viac žien dokázalo nájsť lásku k tomuto symbolu ženskosti. Preto zdieľam tieto momenty skutočného materstva so všetkým, čo k tomu patrí.“

„Je na čase, aby sme sa v tejto veci dostali hlbšie k jadru. Prečo nás tieto veci trápia a poburujú?

If you listen to other people tell you how you should be and if you allow people to place their fears on you, you will never live a day in your life. Just because no one has done it doesn't make it impossible. Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower. If you look at history, innovation doesn't come just from giving people incentives; it comes from creating environments where their ideas can connect. Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom. We can't be afraid of change. You may feel very secure in the pond that you are in, but if you never venture out of it, you will never know that there is such a thing as an ocean, a sea. Holding onto something that is good for you now, may be the very reason why you don't have something better. I have been and still am a seeker, but I have ceased to question stars and books; I have begun to listen to the teaching my blood whispers to me. Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate. At the center of your being you have the answer; you know who you are and you know what you want. And you? When will you begin that long journey into yourself? #JalaluddinRumi #laotzu #cgjung #hermannhesse #cjoybellc #aristotle

Maramaylee had to join in on Day 1 of #thankquility with a hovering #headstand Do you invert your baby? They LOVE it!! If you don't I bet this freaks you out, rest assured it is safe!! If you do then you know the benefits are amazing!! It is great for their spine and helps expand the blood vessels in their brains. Babies are actually very able to withstand lots of different positions even though we don't really put them into many different ones other than the classic cradle style. Upside down play is a great way to let the spine hang straight, release pressure, reduce stress and encourage calm. Having trouble nursing , colic or is your baby just cranky? You can hang them by their feet or hold them by their hips, but I can bet your baby will feel much better after some upside down time. "The first year of life is the greatest time of spinal elongation. A baby’s spine lengthens by 50% by the time they reach one year old! At no other time does this growth happen so rapidly, so you want to make sure your baby is in proper alignment ensuring proper symmetrical growth. The first year of life is also the time of spinal curvature development. There are curves called “lordosis” present in your neck and lower back, and curves called a “kyphosis” in your mid-back and sacrum. These spinal curves are necessary for movement, balance, upright posture, protection, and shock absorption. Without being in alignment during this crucial time your baby’s spinal curves may not develop properly – giving them a poor foundation for later in life. Optimize the function of the nervous system. In infants the central nervous system also controls their growth and development. Being the time of greatest brain and proprioceptor (body position sensors) development, you want to ensure the health of the nervous system. This is what chiropractors who take care of babies look for, disturbances in their nervous systems that interfere with healthy growth and development."

Welcome to Day 31 of #anatomyofselflove POSE AND AFFIRMATION @weirdomandys INFORMATION POST @carleebyoga Original nursing bra by @bravadodesigns The Mother-Child Energy Connection Usually when talking about subtle body and energetic teachings we are talking about our own subtle anatomy – our chakra (energy center) or meridian (energy line) mappings, and what physical body parts and psychological states they relate to. But within all of the energy healing and spiritual traditions that contain subtle body teachings, there are also teachings on our energetic connections to others – mappings of the ways we connect and share our energies. Within these teachings, the mother-child energy line, or cord, holds a special place. When we talk about energy lines and cords, we aren’t simply talking about energy exchange. Everything is energy, so of course whenever we interact with someone there is an exchange. Every conversation, encounter, or even glance, involves an interaction of vibration – it is an energetic encounter, based on both parties’ thoughts and feelings. Our intuitions and ‘sixth senses’ stem from these exchanges. Energy lines and cords go beyond energy exchange. They are direct energy lines that form between us and each of the individuals most prominent in our life. All together they create an energetic tapestry that mirrors our physical and emotional relationships. These lines may be heart-based (heart chakra) for those closest to us, or power-based (navel chakra) with those with whom we have complicated control issues, or in many cases both. They also may be based on shared energy or exchanges linked to almost any of the other chakras – for example, survival-based (first chakra), sex-based (second chakra), communication-based (throat chakra), vision-based (third eye), or spiritually-based (crown chakra.) Often they are a combination of many of these, reflecting the complex nature of our relationships themselves. (CONTINUED IN COMMENTS)

Too old for skin to skin?! Holding them too much?! Never. All you new moms and dads out there can breathe a giant sigh of relief and ignore everything you’ve ever heard about “spoiling” a baby with attention and cuddles. There is just no way to hold a baby too much. Really and truly. No freaking way. A mother's touch enhances attachment between mother and child; it can signify security and, depending on the type of touch, it can generate positive or negative emotions. (Playing pat-a-cake makes babies happy, while a sudden squeeze from Mom often signals a warning not to interact with a new object). We begin receiving tactile signals even before birth, as the vibration of our mother's heartbeat is amplified by amniotic fluid. No wonder then that touch plays a critical role in parent-child relationships from the start. It's an essential channel of communication. In the first two years, babies rely on a strong bond with their mothers for healthy brain development. The development of cerebral circuits depends on it because 80 percent of brain cells grow in the first two years of life, problems in that development can affect people for the rest of their lives. Hold them tight, grow the hippocampus (a key brain structure that is essential to learning, memory and response to stress) and know that showering your baby with love and affection has zero negative consequences and is 100 percent beneficial. Newborns grow faster and have more improved mental and motor skill development. Children raised with more physical interaction tended to be less aggressive and violent. Partners who cuddle have been shown to have lower stress levels ,blood pressure and improved immune function. Elderly people who receive the soothing, affirming experience of touch have been shown to better handle the process of aging and passing with dignity. So the next time someone ridicules you for "ruining" your children , look them in the eye, give them attention, smile at them, and show them physical affection, chances are they'll feel better about it.

PHOTO by @realteelphoto Day 8 of #anatomyofselflove INFORMATION POST Dalai Lama: "I believe that if we stop to think, it is clear that our very survival, even today, depends upon the acts and kindness of so many people. Right from the moment of our birth, we are under the care and kindness of our parents; later in life, when facing the sufferings of disease and old age, we are again dependent on the kindness of others." To receive kindness does us good. Think of a time someone has been kind to you, in a big or a small way: A passerby gave your directions to reach the station or a stranger threw herself in a river to save you from drowning. What effect did it have on you? Probably a beneficial one, because if someone helps us when we need it, we feel relief. And everyone likes to be heard, treated with warmth and friendliness, understood, and nourished. Something similar happens on the other side of the equation: Giving kindness does us as much good as receiving it. . . .  The true benefit of kindness is being kind. Perhaps more than any other factor, kindness gives meaning and value to our life, raises us above our troubles and our battles, and makes us feel good about ourselves. Love is as critical for your mind and body as oxygen. It's not negotiable. The more connected you are, the healthier you will be both physically and emotionally. The less connected you are, the more you are at risk. It is also true that the less love you have, the more depression you are likely to experience in your life. Love is probably the best antidepressant there is because one of the most common sources of depression is feeling unloved. Most depressed people don't love themselves and they do not feel loved by others. They also are very self-focused, making them less attractive to others and depriving them of opportunities to learn the skills of love. There is a mythology in our culture that love just happens. As a result, the depressed often sit around passively waiting for someone to love them. But love doesn't work that way. To get love and keep love you have to go out and be active and learn a variety of specific skills. CONTINUED IN COMMENTS
